does anyone know of any programs that will join multiple video files?wmv in particular.i did a google search and found pyjoin,it joined the files but won'r play past the first file.i tried smplayer, mplayer and kaffeine but,had no luck with these playing the resulting video file..pyjoin was the only free program i could find.i would prefer a native linux app but,if need be i could run an app for  that other os with wine.

if it is all the same video that has been split, you can just use cat to join them.

Example:

cat video1.wmv >> videonew.wmv

cat video2.wmv >> videonew.wmv

cat video3.wmv >> videonew.wmv

The double > in the command tells cat to append the file  video?.wmv to the end of videonew.wmv where ? is the number of the video in the series

Another option would be to use cinelerra but I am not sure it works with wmv (which is a microsoft format)
