as root user:

To update the repository database (always do this first)

Code:

equo update

Then to see what will be updated, use pretend option:

Code:

equo world --pretend

If you are happy with those results, remove the --pretend option:

Code:

equo world

If there are any conf files that need updated, run:

Code:

equo conf update

--------------------

To search or install individual packages in equo:

Code:

equo search package_name

To install a package:

Code:

equo install package_name
